I've been a little obsessed lately with contouring, highlighting, and looking for the best products
to give me that softly sculpted look.
So when I was browsing through my local Ulta and I saw this travel sized version of LORAC's Tantalizer
I knew I needed to give it a shot.

Rant - The color payoff was a little lacking for a brown skinned gal like myself
Rave - it really is a velvet like powder that goes on smoothly and doesn't cause any ashiness
(used it a few times before I got a chance to take photos)
Let me start off by saying the tower's by the register in Ulta is one of my favorite places.
It's a great spot to find a travel size or mini of something that you want to try without paying full price for a full sized item.
So when I saw this gorgeously packaged compact on a recent trip in search of a contouring powder I knew I needed to try it, the results were kinda..meh.
I just had higher expectations for this duo. I really enjoyed the feel of both powders, the bronzer definitely feels as velvety smooth as described but when I went to use it it barely showed up on my skin.
It really just looks like a face powder that doesn't match my skin very well and the highlight is a bit too frosty for my liking though I really had to swatch it a few times over to even get this color.
Overall I give this product a 2.5 out of 5 because while I really do like the feel of both powders the colors just aren't for me. This will probably just end up in my purse to be used for the mirror alone.
Do I recommend it? If your skin tone is lighter than mine I say go for it, It feels lovely on the face.
